I think you are right with your theory that this is a generally Virtue associated feature. I am fairly certain that they had been saved from the attack's stress damage as well. After Transformation, allies had been hit by Necromancer attacks, and the Abomination cried it's RAWR in Virtue Color. While still in Human Form, it was struck by the Necromancer's Six Feet Under, but replied something like 'I fear I am merely a fragment of it's.' (I didn't catch the rest, sorry.) Anyway, the Abomination was not affected by the stress damage of that attack. Greetings again, I bring updates! I just fought the Necromancer with a Focused (again Focused.dang it!) Abomination. We'll need to investigate more before adding anything to the wiki. However, I'm not sure there's anything binding it to Focused specifically: it may be something happening with any kind of virtue. The line he says makes me think it's a special interaction with the Drowned Crew. CEProof ( talk) 13:51, 7 March 2016 (UTC) (Timestamp not correct because I screwed up) I am unsure about how to add this to the wiki page, since I don't know if this is a Drowned Crew only event or a general feature of Focused.

I am suspecting this is a stable feature, and not something the game rolls a dice for.

I could not verify what would have happened on the third attempt, since the boss died by that time. The entire team lost some stress and the Man-at-Arms was NOT bound, simply ignoring all effects of that attack. When the Drowned Anchorman attempted to bind the Man-at-Arms, he replied I just battled the Drowned Crew and had a Focused Man-at-Arms in row 1.
